Indrė Svirplytė

Indrė Svirplytė (°1992) received her Bachelor of Fine Arts from Vilnius Academy of Arts in 2015, followed by a Master of Illustration from LUCA, School of Arts Ghent. Svirplytė also makes installations and plays with multimedia art, averse to standard formats. Recently, this talented illustrator has focused on creating art tapestries with a key role in fantastic, sarcastic, disturbing, grotesque and cartoonish drawings. In the anthropomorphic imagery, devious expressions and mischievous scenes invariably flourish with a bright wink.
